One of the most destructive weapon made by the Indian Factories also known as FN MAG 58 MMG. MAG 58 has been in services with Indian Army since 1960 and has seen another war in 1971. It has been in production since half a century and with no major design changes. The MAG is a Gas operated weapon with long stroke gas piston. A barrel above and a gas regulator below and it fires from an open bolt and does not have a single shot firing capability but what it does have is a fire selector with three settings. It has a low setting of fire at 600 rpm and high setting of fire of 1000 rpm. Chrome plating increases the life of the barrel and It is undoubtedly one of the most dependable and reliable weapon in the world today.
